Top 10 Holiday Gifts for CrossFitters

December 14, 2016

If you have a CrossFitter in your life, you know it; they won't stop talking about it. (The first rule of CrossFit is... we must always talk about CrossFit!) But finding holiday gifts for CrossFitters is hard - a big tray of peppermint bark isn't Paleo. But that doesn't mean you can't get something for your favorite CrossFitter, especially since there are so many great options out there. Here are just a few:

Learning to Breathe Fire: The Rise of CrossFit and the Primal Future of Fitness

CrossFitters are rabid consumers of CrossFit history (and anything CrossFit, if you’ve ever hung around a CrossFitter during Games time). This book is fantastic – it really delves into the history of CrossFit, from Greg Glassman and the origins of Fran to the CrossFit Games and partnership with Reebok. It's an amazing read for anyone who is truly into the sport of fitness and makes an excellent gift.

2. WOD Nation Double Under Speed Jump Rope

A speed rope isn't the sexiest gift, but for a new CrossFitter who is constantly struggling to master double unders (which is, like, all of us), it's a useful thing to have. After a while, the average CrossFitter is going to want their own rope sized for them instead of using one of the ropes at the box. This one is adjustable for hobbits and giants alike.

3. Women’s NextLevel Racerback Tank – I RX’d the Warmup

A little tongue in cheek never hurt anyone. If your CrossFitter likes to sport fun sayings on her tees and tanks, this one from WOD Nation is perfect. It’s triblend, so it’s soft and breathable.

4. Men’s Bella + Canvas Short Sleeve T-Shirt – Donut Judge Me

We all love doughnuts. My box is right next door to a doughnut shop, so on a 200-meter run, we can smell the delicious sugar emanating from the store. It’s perfect for the CrossFitter who also loves sugary treats, and it’s soft and comfortable for even the toughest WODs.

5. No Bull Trainers

End the Reebok vs. Nike debate with a pair of No Bull trainers. Designed with CrossFitters in mind, they come in a variety of colors and in men’s and women’s sizes. They’re minimal and perfect for box jumps, lifting, and more.

6. Socks

Help your favorite CrossFitter protect his or her shins during deadlifts and rope climbs. SoxBox and Stance are more than practical; they’re also fun, with patterns and sayings for everyone!

7. Gym bag

A new gym bag never hurts because we all know the one we have probably smells really bad!! There are tons to choose from but a few we recommend are Reebok, Rogue (so many options!) and GORUCK

8. Junk headbands

Nothing better than keeping the sweat and hair out of your way while you are working hard! These make a great stocking stuffer and you can never go wrong with so many cool and classic designs available!

9.  Crossfit Sports Drink

After a hard WOD and water just can't quite quench your thirst...a Crossfitter never minds having a tasty drink on hand! Gift them a case of FitAid or Killcliff and they will love you forever!

10. Membership Fee

You seriously can NEVER go wrong with this! Especially if you want someone to try Crossfit you can pay for the elements course, 10-punch class card or a whole month! #winning
